Multi-instrumentalist Aaron Ward has released debut solo single “I Don’t Mind”.

Gentle, with just an atmospheric synth, a plucked guitar, and Aaron’s vocals, this song is engaging and intimate from the first to the last line.

The verses have vocals quiet and center, Aaron’s thick accent cutting through, which become a doubled stereo image for the chorus which has a powerful effect.

The post-chorus sound effect is wonderfully melodic and the climax of the song gets under your skin.

This is a strong debut from an artist everyone should be keeping their eye on.
