Easy – Laney Lynx

“Easy” is a new song by Laney Lynx off her new EP (of the same name).

The verses are interesting in their dichotomies; Laney’s voice is delicate, contrasting the frantic synths and gritty groove of the production.

It’s atmospheric and sparse making the transition into the chorus such an awesome moment. The atmosphere gives way to a funky bass and an infectiously catchy chorus.

It’s a kind of anti-drop (reminiscent of “Attention” by Charlie Puth) that’s confident and effective in a refreshing way.

Every song on Laney Lynx’s EP is equally well-crafted and it’s clear that she has a lot to offer as an artist & vocalist.
