Gavin Turek Interview / Guest DJ Set

Gavin Turek was a guest DJ with us recently on Dash Radio. She has a brand new single out called, ‘Good Look for You’, co-written with local producer Tim K. Inspired by greats such as Tina Turner, Chaka Kahn, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, ‘Good Look for You’ is a throwback to the past with a funky fresh new coat of paint. Gavin straddles the indie-electro divide with soul from the 70s and 80s. She will be releasing her new EP also named ‘Good Look for You’ again on February 17th. To quote Gavin herself, from her EP you can expect some “authentic soulful pop” with honest lyrics. She will be in New York on February 17th for the release of her EP at Baby’s All Right and will be back February 23rd to play at The Echo right here in Los Angeles.
