Phil Good Performance + Interview

Jared Maldonado AKA half of the Portland duo DRESSES, brings us his newest solo project, Phil Good. He joined us at Dash Radio to play an unplugged, stripped down version of his single, ‘Sleeping In’. Phil has taken his newest project down here to sunny LA to move away from his guitar driven indie-pop sound of the past to a more synth based electro-pop inspired feeling.

‘Sleeping In’ is smooth and driven with a catchy melody and relatable lyrics. His new sound can also be attributed his co-producer and good friend, Trevor Dahl of Cheat Codes. Phil Good has already been compared to artists like Miike Snow, Glass Animals and Joywave. Currently Phil is in the studio getting ready to produce more singles and is focusing on his new sound.
