R.LUM.R – Surfacing (Album)

R.LUM.R has released his debut album “Surfacing” and it’s incredible! From the moment the album starts (“Making A Choice”) it becomes apparent that this album is special.

It blends masterful songwriting and unparalleled vocals of R.LUM.R with subtle and disquieting production that’s equal parts uplifting R&B and unnervingly gritty.

Tracks like “Call Me Back” and “How This Feels” have an unwavering darkness whereas songs like “Give Me A Reason” and “Surfacing” move with a heartfelt smoothness. Likewise the melancholy of songs like “Boy Should Never Cry” and “What If I (Still Feel)” immediately gets under your skin and pulls at you.

There’s a poetry to the whole record and there’s a magic in how candidly R.LUM.R says exactly what he means to say.

Be sure to listen to this incredible debut album from start to finish.
