Rationale – One By One

Rationale has just released his new song “One By One” and it’s awesome. Driving with an awesome minimalism, this track bumps from start to finish, building carefully and highlight key moments in the song. The vocals are powerful and unique, vibing with a smooth rhythm that effortlessly carries you along. This single will be the first from Rationale’s forthcoming five-track EP High Hopes. It was was co-produced with Bastien Langebaek (Jack Garratt, Jess Glynne, Jessie Ware). This is a really great track and it’s sure to attract new fans (like me) to Rationale’s compelling sound.

In his words:
“One by One came together on a day when I was feeling like experimenting with sounds and styles I hadn’t tried before. I’d been listening to a lot of Afro/ Caribbean influenced music at the time and threw caution to the wind and went with it. Drawing on a story a friend had told me about a situation he was in, the lyrics came easy. I think people will be surprised but hopefully pleasantly so as it’s one of my favourite tracks in the EP!” – Rationale
