The Habits… If you need some good ‘na na na’s,  you’ve come to the right place. If you like Walk The Moon or Chromeo, then you should be locked in right now. The Habits make vibrant upbeat (yet colorfully sadboy) witty lyrical jams.

Here’s a great quote from frontman Wolf Bradley: “We take songs that are happy sounding and put sad lyrics to it. This is music to dance your feelings away.” I can confirm. Smart, fresh, tongue-in-cheek, fast-but-not-too fast.

The Habits weave disgustingly catchy melodies into your brain holes. Music for many occasions: Especially dancing; Running, sure; Walking? Not so sure. I dare you to resist the drums from Andrew Macatrao. Feels like cool water in your ears. Listen to ‘love you’ and tell me that’s not a vibe. You won’t. You can’t.

I got a lucky chance to ask the Wolf and Andrew, the duo behind The Habits, a bit about themselves so now you get to know their innermost thoughts.

2. They love to dance and their music reflects that.
3. They love throwing parties and their music reflects that.
4. If you love throwing parties then this is good music for you.
5. People who you think are cool think they’re rad, like the DJs at KROQ.
6. This band didn’t form when Andrew crashed Wolf’s Bar Mitzvah, but I like to believe there was a spark.
