OIJ – LUMINATE
AMAZING lyricism used in these 4 songs. Really reminds me of SOHN. Clever. Intelligence. This is not formalised ignorant music.
Smooth, airy vocals blend with unique synth-driven production, and, throughout the project, OIJ is able to convey many different vibes.
“Believe” kicks off the effort on an eerie, powerful note, and, as the project progresses, “Marvaal” comes along to continue the dark, moody vibe. Finally, “Remember” concludes the EP with its uplifting, feel-good pop sensibilities. Although we do not know of any specific dates for the producer’s next material, we hope to bring more attention to the project here (as well as the artist, himself), as this music is definitely special and deserves to be heard.
