[PREMIERE] Glass Battles – GLITCHCRAFT Volume I: The Identities

Something wicked this way comes. Glass Battles has popped out of a self-defined “hermetic recording binge” to tease what looks like a mysterious and moody path to his debut album, ‘GLITCHCRAFT’. ‘Volume One: The Identities”, The first of five album teasers (one per month) capture the spookiness we’ve come to expect from the LA local, featuring neon-lit visuals over a haunting cover of ‘Que Sera’. The teaser hints at an introduction of four characters, ‘The Tempter’, ‘The Empath’, ‘The Protector’ and ‘The Witch’, which the subsequent four trailers will focus on individually leading up to the album’s release in October. Says GB, “The Identities that are going to be in the album trailers all represent different facets of me as an artist, and themes within the album that bring everything together pretty nicely. I’m stoked to share it with everyone.”

Glass Battles is an spook-pop artist based out of Los Angeles, he released the first official single ‘Lime Green’ in August 2018, and has been working on the ambitious 14 track album for its autumn 2019 projected release. Looks like we are in for an interesting ride as the fall draws closer.
