The Millennial Club – She’s So Insane (EP)

So-Cal Based Indie-Pop 4-piece The Millennial Club have released their dreamy new 6-track EP “She’s So Insane” and you’d be insane not to listen to it.

The EP starts off with title track, “She’s So Insane” which immediately welcomes its listeners into its world with its 1975-esque introduction of lush soundscapes and that classic, warm, sonic personality that makes The Millennial Club so unique and memorable.

The 6-track EP unveils two new songs “She’s So Insane” and “MI”, both effortlessly capturing that sunny 80’s pop vibe that TMC are known for.

“MI” is so cinematic and theatrical without trying to be, and can easily be the soundtrack to each of our own individual love stories.

“IDWBILWY” (an acronym for “I don’t wanna be in love with you”) is another gem and personal favorite on this record. These guys have really nailed their sound and sonic brand, which is not an easy thing to do. It’s clear these guys have done the work. The songwriting is so emotional and love-centered, the production and instrumental arrangement on this EP is cohesive, modern and unique: each song seems to blend into the next while each can easily stand on their own.

I feel like I’m in an 80’s dream while listening to this catchy collection. It’s easy to tell that these songs are coming from a deeply personal and authentic place, all leading up to “love is so hard!” (previously released) which is a smooth R&B vibe that any young hopeless romantic can relate to.

Here’s what the band had to say about their debut collection:

“The ‘She’s So Insane’ EP is an extremely honest collection of songs, and our journey as musicians has been captured in these tracks. It’s a really big deal for us because it’s the first complete set of work we’ve put out; because of that, it really feels like now, more than ever, people have a holistic view of us. I guess in a way, that means they really can (truly) see if they like our music, or if they simply like just one of our songs.”

You decide for yourself. I’m clearly in the Millennial Club Fan-Club. I’m excited to continue to watch these talented Cali boys continue to evolve.
