10 Fresh Emerging Artists to Soundtrack Your Summer in High Volume

Whether you’re in the mood for intimate indie folk, bold pop anthems, or cinematic post-punk, this list has it all. These 10 rising international artists are delivering unforgettable soundtracks for summer; full volume recommended.

Phoebe Katis

With the charisma of the girl next door and the chops of a seasoned pro, British singer-songwriter Phoebe Katis returns this summer with her fifth studio album — a bold, genre-blending showcase of her dynamic songwriting. Shaped from the inside out, the project sees Katis co-produce each track alongside a different collaborator, resulting in a vibrant sonic palette that highlights her versatility and eclectic influences.

Sweet yet sharp, Phoebe glides effortlessly across pop’s many shades. Her latest tracks, Good Days, Kindred Lover, and i’m a kid, show her range and have already landed her spots on key Spotify playlists. She’s even caught the attention of BBC Radio, which continues to shine a spotlight on her shimmering pop sensibilities.

All Things Blue

L.A.-based psych-pop outfit All Things Blue continues to expand their sonic universe with their latest single, San Pedran Crustacean, featuring Nick Dorian. Synths pulse at full throttle in a track that channels the dreaminess of The Flaming Lips, the groove-forward vibes of Pond, and the hazy intimacy of Rex Orange County

This track is the third single from All Things Blue’s upcoming project, solidifying its place in the indie scene with emotional, genre-bending music that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.

Jazzie Young

Named one of LADYGUNN’s 2025 Artists to Watch, LA’s own Jazzie Young is poised for a breakout year as she readies her debut full-length album. Her music cuts deep through confession and emotional honesty, resonating with anyone who’s ever felt like just an option. Mr Casual, her latest single, explores the emotional unavailability that defines modern relationships, especially among younger generations. Following buzzworthy releases like Miss You Already and Waiting On You, the latter of which earned nominations at both the Pasadena International Film Festival and the Berlin Music Video Awards, Jazzie proves she’s got staying power and something to say.

Evenson

There’s something magnetic about Evenson, from his haunting falsetto to his genre-fluid aesthetic. His new track You blends psychedelic R&B with neo-soul in a way that feels both otherworldly and incredibly personal. With more music set to drop this July, Evenson is just getting started.

Tyler Bradley Walker

Best known as one half of electro-art duo Gone To Color, Tyler Bradley Walker steps out solo with his debut LP The Sun The Moon The Earth and Me, set to release June 20. The lead single Moon Broke Quiet—featuring Tim Rutili from Califone—is an emotional and sonic voyage, driven by raw vocals, textured synths, and cosmic percussion. The track’s haunting music video, filled with desolate nightscapes and lunar symbolism, is a visual extension of Tyler’s introspective lyrics.

The Sun The Moon The Earth and Me is a seven-track odyssey that blends shoegaze, rock, and electronic experimentation into a hauntingly textured soundscape. Co-produced by indie rock icon Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine), the project was crafted using a hardware MIDI sequencer, a dozen analog synths, and layers of acoustic instruments and vocals. With contributions from artists like Mikel Rouse, Tim Rutili, Lydia Adelle Brown, Alex Games, and visuals by Carson Cox of Merchandise, the record feels like both a personal catharsis and a collaborative force field of analog warmth.

Emmanuelle June

With Runaway Bride, Stockholm-born artist Emmanuelle June blends post-punk edge with psych-rock flair in a rebellious anthem that confronts tradition and expectation. Drawing from an overlooked origin story of Mother Mary, the track reimagines her as a runaway bride, challenging tradition with fierce elegance.

Released via Perth Records and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, the song is as cinematic as her award-winning film work, including her short Interstellar, which won accolades at the Portobello Film Festival. Her music video, shot between the sunlit ruins of Cyprus and Sweden’s dreamlike forests, is pure visual poetry.

J Appiah

London-based singer-songwriter J Appiah returns with Lucy, the second single from his upcoming EP That’s the Thing About Time, Part 2. Produced with Barnabas Poffley, the track weaves soul, electronic, and indie influences into a deeply personal exploration of masculinity, vulnerability, and emotional confusion.

Fresh off touring with Michael Kiwanuka and celebrating a new distribution deal between his label 19FIFTY7 and VERO Music, Appiah continues to rise, bolstered by past successes like Where Has Your Heart Gone.

RYLAI

Rylai brings melancholic indie-pop to the forefront with Without You, a cinematic single that explores emotional loss and resilience. Ethereal and atmospheric, the track was co-produced with Dylan Buzz Gold, Scandi, and Colby Lapolla and features RYLAI on vocals, viola, violin, and synths.

This multi-talented artist crafts everything himself: lyrics, sound, and visuals, drawing listeners into his hauntingly beautiful universe where introspection meets art-pop storytelling.

Ajii & Jordan Anthony

Craving a high-energy pop anthem with depth and heat? Cherry, the new single by Ajii and Jordan Anthony, is a euphoric burst of female-led seduction and powerhouse harmonies. Co-written by Ajii alongside producers Gregg Wattenberg (Goo Goo Dolls, John Legend) and Pom-Pom (John Legend, Suki Waterhouse), the track is as slick as it is soulful—built for summer nights, top-down drives, and late-night dance floor moments.

Caroline Dezelle

Caroline Dezelle embraces imperfection and celebrates emotional authenticity in “the real things,” a folk-pop gem produced by Danny Reisch (Local Natives, Sharon Van Etten) and featuring Misha Hercules, set to be released on June 27.

Her soft, confessional vocal style, paired with minimalist arrangements, makes her one of indie folk’s most promising new voices. Dezelle’s upcoming EP continues her mission to write songs that feel like a quiet conversation between friends—raw, real, and beautifully flawed.
