LUMiN – Bloody Hell

LUMiN is back with his new single “Bloody Hell”. Opening with distorted vocals and a pulsing bass line, everything pulls back to reveal understated vocals with tight rhythmic writing.

It’s melancholic from start to finish, an earnest frustration that reaches a fever pitch in the chorus that slams like an anthem to an irresolvable situation.

I was particularly hit by the line “I fucking introduced him to you, now it feels like I never knew you… I guess it’s more than a rebound” – it’s an all-too-relatable story told in three lines and it’s a lived-in gut-punch.

This is one of my favorite songs from LUMiN and I can’t wait to hear what comes next from him!
