Salem – Bad Word

Salem’s new single “Bad Word” solidifies my feeling that she’s en route to being a new rising voice in pop.

Her vocals are dynamic, crooning and gliding between playful and earnest from moment to moment.

The production (co-produced by Bendik Moller and Noah Longworth McGuire of Sleeping Lion) bumps with tasteful minimalism, atmospheric ear candy, and tight vocal stacks. Likewise, the songwriting is masterful with clever lyricism and hooks that immediately get lodged in your head.

“Bad Word” is an incredible second single from Salem and I’m sure this is only the beginning for her!
