[PREMIERE] Marcus Buser – Give It
Los Angeles based artist Marcus Buser’s has just released his second single off his forthcoming debut EP Bad Dreams, set to be out on Blossöm Records in early 2020. The follow up to this summer’s single All Night, Buser continues to provide slow jams for late night romantic drives. The sensual tones of the tune are underscored by the sweetness and sincerity of the lyrics.
“I was listening to a lot of old soul music when I wrote this song. I found the way they talked about making love in those songs very inspiring. Everything was so caring, and tender. So much modern music that talks about relationships is about getting something. I wanted to write a song about giving.” – Marcus Buser
While Marcus’ solo project is brand new, if your familiar with the LA music scene you have probably seen him performing with acts such as Laura Jean Anderson, Bird Concerns, Van William, Dan Sadin, and more. This new solo venture is a departure from his work as a multi-instrumentalist and shows us a more tender side of the singer songwriter. The song has a hue of classic soul highlighted by Raven Scott’s vocal responses and Ted Taforo’s saxophones that give the track a breath of nostalgia amongst the fully modern production. Give It is out now on all streaming platforms. You can see Marcus perform with his live band The Space Heaters at Gold Diggers on December 2nd.
