Stevie Wolf – Paper maché doll

Stevie Wolf is an honest indie-pop artist, who writes songs that make you feel less alone. He’s back with a moving ballad titled ‘Paper maché doll’. In times like today, it’s especially helpful that he tackles topics like disconnection and dependancy. Stevie takes a very humanistic approach with his songwriting on this one. His vocals, guitar skills and percussion really stand out throughout the track. “Paper maché doll” is Stevie’s second release off his forthcoming EP, due out this Spring.

“Sometimes i’m going through some shit, but i have no idea what. there’s nothing specific going on that i can point to and be like “this is what’s hurting me. ouch.” so instead it’s just like a dull ache that i can’t put my finger on. i just feel generally, lightly fucked up, but it’s oh so ethereal. luckily, it’s quieter when i’m alone but then i really miss people. so i try to surround myself with them, but it doesn’t work. but also i’m, like, mad about it. so this song is all of that.”
