CHERITON – Little Late Little Love
We’re really lucky to have stumbled on indie-pop newcomer CHERITON – aka Nick Harrison.CHERITON is based in London, but originally from Kent. Nick created the pseudonym of CHERITON in summer 2019. He creates infectious hook-driven, guitar-pop. He combines crisp vocals with twinkling synths and jangling guitar twangs to make a sound that is both sun-kissed and undeniably addictive. We were so happy to find out, that it was produced by Andy Hall Hall (Bastille, Fickle Friends, James Gillespie). LLLL is a song about poor form.
CHERITON tells us about the song:
“Its about bad timing, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time the end of a relationship and the messed up things people say and do to one another,”
“I think people when faced with inevitability of a break up, out of fear, can behave in very irrational ways. They become hurtful and are un-empathetic to each other. In this song I wanted to reflect on both sides of the story. I’ve experienced both sides and they aren’t fun. Sometimes I write songs for other people and sometimes I write them for myself, LLLL is definitely the latter.”
