Freedom Fry – Not With A Bullet

We sure love our friends, Freedom Fry. They have just dropped a new full length album, titled ‘Songs from the West Coast. NOT WITH A BULLET is about love being eternal. They had the following to say about the track:

“You can’t stop love, not with a bullet, not with an army.” We genuinely believe that. If all we are is energy, then love is the one thing you make that can be permanent.

It took them a while to find the elements that made the production work. They balanced a brooding French horn with a subdued flute ensemble to make it feel dark & orchestral. The drums and the bass balance out that softness with a bit more intensity.

They shot a video for this song using 8mm film at our home during the lockdown:
