Surreal Musician ARM Is Pushing Boundaries With His Eccentric Single “Everybody Wants a Taste”
I’m a sucker for surreal experiences. I find them captivating, original, and enthralling. Well if you’re anything like me, you’re in luck! I just found someone really interesting: ARM, a unique visual and audio adventure. The songwriter, producer, and visual artist from Long Island acquaints us with his release single “Everybody Wants a Taste.”
ARM is passionate about sports, weightlifting, MMA, boxing, Olympic gymnastics, Olympic figure skating, and track. During the course of making his music, he incorporates the philosophies or mindsets from all of these art forms. In addition to advertising, merchandise, marketing and editorial photography, poetry, and creating music for movies, TV shows, and video games, he also writes and produces music for other artists across all genres, and works in publishing and licensing. As a brand and style, ARM should stand alone without his face attached. He graduated from audio engineering school and comes from that background. EWAT is the culmination of everything he has learned from the experiences in music and life he has had over the years. If I’m being honest, it kinda reminds me of Depeche Mode. It’s an excellent example of how ARM continues to push electronic music boundaries while still delivering catchy and danceable tunes. The production is especially impressive, as ARM manages to blend together a variety of styles from classic 80s synthpop to modern EDM. He creates a sound that is both unique and recognizable, with an underlying sense of nostalgia that is sure to draw in listeners. Furthermore, the song’s structure is tight and precise, making it easy to listen to in any situation. All of this culminates in a track perfect for the dancefloor.
