Kid Prexy’s “I Think That You’re Pretty” is pure fun
Teenage alt rock pop punker Kid Prexy returns with a brand new track and music video. The song is entitled “I Think That You’re Pretty” and the rising artist tapped famed producer Kevin Thrasher (Machine Gun Kelly, Blink 182, Jxdn) to collaborate with him for this unforgettable rock anthem.
“I Think That You’re Pretty” is an ode to love at first sight and that intense sweetness you feel when you are head over heels for someone. The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer confides, “I wrote this song to express the feeling you get when you see someone that you’re instantly attracted to and can’t stop thinking about them. For the music video, I wanted it to have an old school pop punk vibe and be performance driven. I think it turned out really sick and having my drum teacher, Josh Henry, from my School of Rock days perform with me was a lot of fun!” The thrilling single features dynamic loud guitars, heart intensive drum beats and Kid Prexy’s unmistakable deep vocals. The music video directed by Kid Lennon and animated by Rob Fidel (Green Day) is influenced by the early days of MTV and showcases Kid Prexy’s invigorating live show.
Kid Prexy is a 16 year old musical prodigy who resides in Edmond, Oklahoma. Inspired by Machine Gun Kelly, Jxdn and Blink182 among others, the rising star creates his own intoxicating blend of alt rock, pop and punk. Check out his new song and follow him on social media.
