The Indestructible Water Bear shares phenomenal indie rock album ‘Everything Is OK’
The Indestructible Water Bear is a brand new band out of Philadelphia. Composed of veteran musicians, the collective was brought together by their love of 90’s alternative rock and live performances. The four-piece unveiled their debut album Everything Is OK earlier this year. Everything Is OK is made up of seven tracks, taking the listener on a joyous sonic journey.
Highlights of the album include the anthemic single “Missing You”. The song drips in seduction and longing while creating an immersive and atmospheric listen. The music features Gail Farmer’s distinctive voice, which draws comparison to Dolores O’Riordan and Sinead O’Connor. “Missing You” spotlights rich layering giving the single a dynamic, textured feel. “A Thousand Suns” captivates with a harmonic guitar riff, heart pounding drums and an attention commanding chorus. While “I Walk the Night”, features thrilling percussion and a hooky jangly guitar riff. The song culminates into a colliding wall of sound, giving a heightened sense of passion and urgency.
