A Cathartic Musical Embrace: Ian Cobiella’s new EP “All I Have I Give”

Ian Cobiella has been on our radar this year with his musical blend unlike any other. The LA based classically trained musician and singer-songwriter has just shared his latest EP All I Have I Give. The EP is shared alongside a unique live video, showing fans an exciting glimpse into his vibrant and dynamic live show.

All I Have I Give includes the single “Have I Been Good To You”, a cinematic pulsating alt pop banger that includes percussion which takes influence from his Cuban-Bolivian heritage. The song raises an important question in a relationship, haven’t I been good to you, giving you what you want and the kindness you deserve? He shares, “I wanted to make a song that moves because I want people to dance. The drum groove is built on a salsa clave, a pattern from Cuban music with this constant, almost obsessive forward momentum — which felt right with the lyrics. The song is sexy and manic, and I loved getting there in the writing and recording. This song is meant to feel like a tornado.”

Then there is “Should I Fight It”, a radio-friendly anthem complete with a soaring chorus, layered instrumentation and atmospheric soundscapes. The single grapples with the question of fighting and trying in a relationship and the emotional upheaval that often persistants through it all.  With “It’s Not Me” Ian Cobiella takes a contemplative approach. The single is a mood-laced piano ballad embracing delicate melodies and a slow-burning musical landscape.

Throughout All I Have I Give, Cobiella demonstrates an impressive ability to merge his diverse influences into something that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern. His classical foundation, Cuban and Bolivian roots, and alternative pop sensibilities collide to create music that refuses to settle into one category. Each song carries its own emotional weight while remaining connected by a central theme: the desire to give everything you have, even when the outcome remains uncertain.

The EP’s title is more than a statement, it is a reflection of Cobiella’s approach as an artist. All I Have I Give is a deeply personal offering filled with passion, movement, and vulnerability. Whether he is creating a storm of percussion and energy or sitting alone at the piano, Cobiella proves that his greatest strength lies in his willingness to embrace every part of himself and pour it into his music.
