KINGDM: Baby (Feat. Kevin Garrett)

Kingdm, a duo from London/Los Angeles, released a smashing single last week called “Baby (Feat. Kevin Garrett).” Not much is known about the duo’s identity, but what we do know is that this is their second masterful track. It is perfectly paired with the sultry, smooth vocals of a We Found New Music favorite, Kevin Garrett.

Garrett gracefully croons, “I know it won’t be perfect love / but I don’t care / If I’m the one the that you craving / Can you live without it? / Why you keep on waiting?/ When I can take you there / If you my baby” over a hopeful lover.

Kingdm classifies their sound as “Music for the People” and as Soulful Electro / Funk. “Baby” pulls together soulful guitars in the hook and a smooth guitar solo toward the end, which definitely gives those soulful vibes.
