South by Southwest, Austin Texas

Hello! I’m writing you from South by Southwest, where WE FOUND NEW MUSIC is in full force:

We’re throwing our first ever WE FOUND NEW MUSIC Official SXSW Showcase Saturday Night at Buffalo Billiards , where you’ll have a chance to check out some really amazing new bands that we believe in (Of Verona, Mini Mansions, Holy Esque, Royal Teeth, Et Tu Bruce and Air Bag One). We’re also so proud to be a part as DJ between bands all night at This Fiction and Friends Official Showcase Thursday night at Esther’s Follies, where you’ll have a chance to check out amazing artists on This Fiction Management, Interscope & Cherrytree Records (Jukebox the Ghost, X Ambassadors, and Sun Club), as well as some friends of This Fiction (Paperwhite and The Last Bandoleros).

In Addition we’ll be part of The Yard, a FREE, all-ages, outdoor music showcase presented by The Most Definitely and Wind-up Records. We will be at the event interviewing all of the bands on the lineup as well as DJing. It’s hosted at an 18k sq/ft outdoor space in the heart of Austin that’s occupied by one of Austin’s top barbecue spots, La Barbecue.
