Groves Performance + Interview

GROVES, whose namesake comes from their home state of Groves, Texas, sat down and played us a couple of tunes and told us what we have to look forward to in the coming months. They played us their songs ‘Ender’, which is the first song they ever wrote together, as well as their newest single ‘Watch Me’, which is off their new EP “Not for Nothing”.

Inspired by performers such as, Elvis Costello, Phoenix, Blink-182, and The Beatles, Groves have created a sound that is unique to themselves. They have toured with Culture Club and have gotten notoriety and a residency here in LA from Tobi Lynn at Alt 98.7. Groves is under MDDN Management who was formed by Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charolette. Things continue to move rapidly for this band and we cannot wait to see where they go!
