phem – jump

phem is back with her new single “jump” and it’s absolutely awesome. I love how this song starts, with distant production and someone saying “fuck, fuck, oh my god” before phem sings the chorus miles away.

Disquieting and biting, the verse is directed at the 9-5-living-dead and it’s wonderfully clever. The chorus immediately gets stuck in your head and the song as a whole had me grooving along subconsciously.

Dynamic and powerful, “jump” is an awesome new single from the inimitable phem.
