Abby Sage – 18 Years & Holy Water

Hailing from Toronto, indie-pop artist Abby Sage just released her second single, “18 Years,” off her forthcoming debut EP.

The track features Sage’s arresting vocals which are very reminiscent of Billie Eilish or the London-based Arlo Parks. There’s a wistful, innocent quality to Sage’s voice that feels very timeless.

Sage feels like an artist from another era- part torch singer, part seventies singer songwriter.

Her lyrics in both “18 Years” and her previous single, “Holy Water” have a nostalgic literary quality to them that belies a wisdom far beyond her 22 years.

“Holy Water” is a bit more upbeat and danceable and shows the range that Sage has to her sound.

Sage’s lushly produced sound is the perfect soothing antidote to the harsh and insane world we’re all living in, so keep an eye out for her debut EP due out in the fall of this year.
