Active Bird Community – Spend The Night

Active Bird Community is back with their new single “Spend The Night”. This is the kind of plaintive jam you can expect from this Brooklyn-based rock band and it’s a powerful song from start to end. The vocals are so unique and interesting adding to the explosive intensity of the overall track.

This is a band aware of its listener, adding and subtracting parts and changing melodies before any idea feels played-out. In particular, there’s a special moment in the bridge when everything immediately drops out and the guitar builds around Tom D’Agustino singing “you’re not pretending” with a gradual intensity before slamming into the chorus. “Spend The Night” is another great song from Active Bird Community.
