Alexa Villa shares pop rock banger “Not Your Fool”

Los Angeles based self proclaimed “bubble rocker” Alexa Villa has unleashed her latest single “Not Your Fool” which is off of her just released nine-track album Good Girl. The album follows her second full-length Act 1 released in 2017.

The upbeat and infectious single “Not Your Fool” impresses with vibrant synths, confident vocals and layered intoxicating melodies making for the perfect pop rock anthem of letting go and moving on. On the release, Alexa confides the song is about “reclaiming your power after a break up. It’s about looking back at all the red flags, realizing that I missed them, and choosing to grow from the pain rather than letting the break up break me. I wrote this song months after my very toxic long term relationship ended, once the fog cleared and I was able to see that I should have left sooner.”
