Alke will be playing at Bar Lubitsch on February 20th, 2020 alongside Rainne, SAYGRACE, and Cara Hart (with DJ sets by Holander)

Mirroring the bright dance-pop synths of the 80’s/90’s this energetic duo is sure to put on an awesome show! Comprised of Kelsey Karrasch and Jameson Flood, Alke debuted in 2017 with their haunting single “Indigo”, moving with intense yet smooth vocals and a distant piano, the song immediately digs under your skin and stays with you long after the final notes play. The single, now with over a million streams on Spotify, launched the duo into this pop world and they’ve been releasing pop anthems ever since!

On Valentine’s Day they released their single amazing “Gemini” that explores astrology through the pros and cons of the eponymous sign. Kelsey Karrasch says the song is about “falling for someone that you are, without a doubt, completely incompatible with. You try so hard to figure someone out and let the chemistry lead the way, and sometimes it just ends in disaster. It’s easier to blame that on astrology than it is to blame yourself for having a type”.

“Gemini” opens with retro-sounding guitars and big drums grooving along with a shimmering energy. Vocals soar gently above the verse, drifting between light and airy and powerfully direct. The chorus slams with catchy hooks that immediately get stuck in you head and vibe that’s sure to get a whole room dancing!
