The boys in Bassh are back with their second single “Animal” today on We Found New Music. On “Animal” the duo of Jimmy Brown and CJ Hardee (of Matrimony) teamed with ex-Cage The Elephant guitarist Lincoln Parrish (who co-wrote and produced it) to combine a hypnotic bassline, head-nodding percussion and pointed, staccato guitars with an anthemic refrain to create a song that will undoubtedly be heard across arenas and radio waves sooner rather than later.
Bassh hit the ground running earlier this year with their debut track “Body”, a vibed out indie rocker that serves as the Yin to “Animal”‘s Yang. Both records will be on the band’s debut EP due out next year with one of our favorite LA labels, Antler Records. For now let “Animal” take you into the weekend!
