Blithe – Bad Habit
Blithe has just released her second single “Bad Habit” and it’s bouncing pop at its finest! Opening with a sparse beat (driven by playful tongue-clicks), Blithe’s awesome vocals cut through everything with a gentle confidence. The songwriting is tight and each line hits its mark with Blithe’s distinctive vocal style. The chorus is a near-spoken croon that adds an really interesting dynamic layer to the overall vibe of the song. Written with Freedo (Zara Larsson’ “Lush Life”) and Lucy Pawws (Dua Lipa’ “Be The One”), “Bad Habit” fresh pop track that is equal parts bubbly and edgy. An impressive and incredibly compelling second single from a rising artist we’ll be sure to keep up with!
In her words:
“I wrote Bad Habit about addiction. It’s very personal and real to me, but I wanted to make it playful. I’m the sort of person that will run back to bad things and people a million times in the name of love, even though I know it will end in destruction. I find foolishness in love all very romantic. One bad decision leads to another and that leads you back into the arms of someone you love and in the end it falls apart and the cycle starts again.” -Blithe
