Chandler Juliet is back with her new single “Burning Sage”. With just a guitar and an e-piano, Chandler comes in strong with a smoothly sung well-written verse. Something feels disquieting as she compels us to relate to her doubts, but there are shreds of hope that peek between each verse in before growing into the chorus. Chandler’s vocals cascade into the chorus with an energy and intensity that feels both direct and mellow all at once.
It’s a really cool song and I’m looking forward to hearing what comes next from this compelling artist.
