Chanel Lóran – Take It

Chanel Lóran just dropped her first single titled “Take it”, setting the bar high for the rest of her career. This song is a fun twist on a typical pop song, mixing in more trap and r&b influenced rhythms. Her voice has a wide range throughout the chorus matching her pointed tone letting everyone know that she’s not going to give into the guilt trip of someone else, and that she really is not going to “Take It”. Chanel is channeling girl power realness intertwined with her DGAF attitude through her lyrics and it sets the tone for the image she is trying to build on. This song definitely gave listeners a fun summer song as well as a glimpse into what her career will become and I am excited to see what she has next.
