[PREMIERE] Cody Lovaas: Bodies

Cody Lovaas shows us how “Bodies” move in new single

Cody Lovaas introduced himself to the world with his debut single “Lie”, and to follow-up the instant success of the “insanely catchy pop-rock gem” (Idolator), we partnered with Lovaas to debut his new single “Bodies.”

When you think of San Diego, CA, you think surfers, beach, and sunlight. Not many would peg it as home to many musicians, but 18-year-old Lovaas calls the beach city home, and it has shaped him into the songwriter he is today. Even with it just being his second single to date, “Bodies” already showcases a new level of depth with Lovaas’ songwriting and singing. Where most music these days tries to use the singer’s voice to break away from the musicality of the song, Lovaas chooses to mold the rhythm of the music to the sound of his voice, coupled with the jazzy groove of his guitar playing.

Don’t underestimate Lovaas for his age, his talent goes beyond years and with now two smash hits under his belt, Lovaas is bound to take over the indie-pop scene with his guitar in one hand, and a surfboard in the other.

The single officially comes out tomorrow, but check out an exclusive stream of “Bodies” below. Be sure to stay tuned for what’s next with Lovaas and follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
