CXLOE – Show You

CXLOE has just released her incredible new single “Show You”. This single comes off the heels of this rising Sydney-based artist’s last single “Monster” (which has over 1 million streams to date), and builds off its energy. There’s a dark vibe at the start, with atmospheric production elements and a pulsing bass blending with CXLOE’s killer vocals.

CXLOE’s voice is singular- perfect for this new pop soundscape, but unique in its tone & style. This is big pop with stellar production and with a sensibility for how effective quick dynamic changes can be in pop. The chorus is a perfect example of this; it breaks expectation by being softer & more minimal than the pre-chorus, and yet the rhythmic songwriting & vocoder layers create an awesome intensity that builds to a peak.

“Show You” shows us that CXLOE has the potential to take the pop music world by storm & I can’t wait to hear what comes next.

In her words:
“I wrote ‘Show You’ in LA with my friend, Sam Farrar. I wanted to write something that felt different to my last two singles, a sound that wasn’t necessarily so moody, but still carried the weight of all my emotions at the time. I really wanted to push the love/sex boundaries and ‘Show You’ was the outcome of that. This song makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time and that’s very fitting for me! I often struggle with my words in any type of relationship and can’t seem to articulate how I feel; it makes me too nervous. This song is for when words aren’t enough. For when words won’t do. When you need to show someone how you feel instead.” -CXLOE
