CYN – Mood Swing (EP)

CYN has just released her incredible EP “Mood Swing”. Opening with the bouncing “I Can’t Believe” which is a wonderfully happy song full of gratitude for a good life!

What follows is “Angel” which (as the title suggest) swings the mood towards melancholy with soaring melodies and minimalist production that Cyn’s voice pierces through plaintively.

“Bubble Bath” and “Nobody’s Keeping Score” connects singles “I’ll Still Have Me” and “Holy Roller” provided equal parts of Cyn’s whole vibe – a playful nonchalance (in “Bubble Bath”) and bitingly heartfelt sincerity (“Nobody’ Keeping Score”).

The EP ends with “Never-ending Summer”, an effortlessly smooth song that grooves with vocal layers and strong songwriting. Cascading hooks that culminate a song that could be played year-round.
