[DEBUT] Lila Drew – faded/2am (feat. GoldLink)

Lila Drew has just released her debut single “faded/2am” featuring GoldLink! Minimal production and a guitar establish a mellow atmosphere as Lila’s soft vocals cut through. Her voice is careful and gentle yet they have a bite during rhythmic lyrics that gives the whole performance an awesome edge. GoldLink’s verse is excellent, flowing smoothly and complimenting Lila’s atmospheric croon with a cool directness.

The transition into the “2am” section is awesome, changing the time signature to reflect a kind of dreaminess.

This is an incredible debut and I have no doubt Lila Drew will be rising very quickly from here!
