DWY is a multi instrumentalist born in Florida and raised in the UK. Rewinding back, DWY realised the power of music at a very young age. As mentioned, he was Born in Florida and his family moved to South London by the time he turned four-years-old. Every morning on the way to school, dad played The Score by The Fugees, while mom spun classics by Bruce Springsteen and Prince at home. At 15-years-old, he heard Mario Winans’ “I Don’t Wanna Know” and made a decision, “I want to write a song,” he recalls.
