Dylan Dunlap – Face Value

I first heard Dylan Dunlap’s “Face Value” performed acoustically in a dimly lit Hollywood venue and it absolutely floored me. When the chorus hit, you could hear a pin drop, the whole room utterly captivated.

I was eager to hear how the record would capture that feeling and I’m both relieved & unsurprised that Dylan has pulled it off brilliantly with this new single. When the chorus hits – a cascading wall of intense harmony – there’s a brief moment of silence that follows that let’s the moment sit with you for a second; he knows his listener and exactly how to pull them in.

Dylan’s voice is exceptionally dynamic, gliding from a low croon to a powerful falsetto to an cutting belt over the course of seconds.

It’s clear Dylan Dunlap has a bright future ahead of him and I can’t wait to see what comes next for him!
