ELKA: Burnt Out
Just ahead of their official EP release on March 9th, breezy South Coast group, ELKA give us a taste of their irresistible sound with ‘Burnt Out’. Showing influences spanning the last few decades, ELKA raise the indie pop flag, with shades of rock and Electronic as well. They have been described as “somewhere between listening to Radiohead’s Kid A, The Police, Interpol and the Beverly Hills Cop Soundtrack.”
The five piece have written all of their music together, and have worked closely with mixing engineer Donald Clark, who is the man behind Swim Deep, Noah and the Whale as well as some unknown band by the name of Muse.
