FRND – Erase

“Erase” by FRND is an incredible new track from this LA-based artist!

More than just hooked, I was floored by the first moments of this song as that first synth feels unique in its sound design & refreshing in its minimalism.

FRND is fully aware of how to carefully build energy around a track and does so (in the first verse & chorus) completely without percussion.

Instead, his mellow vocals & stellar harmonies carry the song with an intimate intensity.

When the percussion does arrive it gradually builds, never drawing focus from the vocals & the lyrics until the build finally breaks into an intensely glitchy drop.

This song highlights the songwriting skill of FRND (aka Andrew Goldstein) who has also penned songs for Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, and blackbear.

“Erase” is another great track from FRND and a song that’s certain to be added to countless summertime playlists!
