Gal Musette takes us to France in “Je Vois Le Ciel”

Baroque pop dream-filled singer/songwriter Gal Musette returns with an intoxicating French anthem. Called “Je Vois Le Ciel”, the track is a delectable offering highlighting the songwriter’s muscality and creativity.

“Je Vois Le Ciel” highlights loneliness and all of its dimensions. From sadness, isolation, yearning and more, Gal Musette captures that all too relatable feeling in the nostalgic sonic masterpiece. The track pays homage to surrealist French poetry, aiming to release the subconscious mind. “Je Vois Le Ciel” features wistful vocals, a melancholic rich theremin (performed by Via Mardot) and Musette’s pristine vocal prowess for a must listen narration on what it means to be human.

Gal Musette is Grace Freeman, a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter hailing from San Clemente California. Beginning her musical journey at the young age of 10, Gal soon began touring with legendary artists including Macy Gray, Suzanne Vega, The Magnetic Fields and Donavon Frankenreiter. Her eleven track album Backwards Lullaby garnered much critical acclaim and even featured backing vocals by her musical hero Rufus Wainwright.
