Georgi Kay – Lone Wolf

From the start this track had me absolutely hooked. Georgi Kay’s track “Lone Wolf” is a heartbreaking synth-layered jam from this brilliant British-Australian artist (now based in LA). From the first line, Georgi Kay’s voice is so compelling & unique, gradually growing in intensity until it cascades in the chorus with lush vocal layers. The production is sparse (reminiscent of Miike Snow’s mellower songs) and it gives Georgi’s voice room to move the song along with every memorable hook and heart-crushing lyric. Over the years Georgi Kay has accrued many accolades (multiple ARPA awards, an ARIA award, a Grammy nomination) and she has worked with various EDM legends (such as Tiesto, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and David Ghetta). “Lone Wolf” is a perfect example of what makes Georgi Kay such a sought after vocalist & songwriter.
