Goldwash – Rhythm is Frozen

Goldwash is back with his killer new song “Rhythm is Frozen”. This song has an explosive intro, blending electronic elements & brass with a jazzy grandeur before dropping into a minimalistic verse that’s carried by Goldwash’s smooth vocals & tight songwriting. The chorus carries these ideas forward, further fusing genres while playing with dynamics & experimental vocal effects.

“Rhythm is Frozen” is the first track from Goldwash’s writing retreat to Ensenada, Mexico, where he holed up for months in a small room without wi-fi in an effort to quit the internet. Once back in Los Angeles, Goldwash recruited the horn section comprised of JP Floyd (Chance the Rapper, Kehlani) and Matt Shulman (Brad Mehldau).

This is Goldwash’s first single of 2018 & it highlights a promising return from this genre-flipping artist.
