Grimes: Flesh without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream

Grimes is finally back with a pop hit, reminiscent of About You Now by the Sugababes from the off-set, with driving drums and guitars. I’ve been waiting for this comeback for a while now, and it still has the initial grit that Grimes always brought to her writing, yet I do feel it lacks the strength to fight with a Taylor Swift monster.

Interestingly, I am totally looking forward to the next release to see if this were just a re-introduction to Grimes, or if she’s gone totally off path.
