This is half•alive’s first single of 2018 and they come through with incredible energy & a wholly unique vibe. A drum groove & organ introduce the track before the lead vocals & call-and-response vocal layers cut through and build with a steady intensity.

The pre-chorus grows with an awesome rhythm, concluding in a rising chord progression & build up that spills into a electronic-heavy chorus. The total effect of that transition floored me and half•alive’s ability to blend & shift through various genres & elements is truly amazing.
