Issac Dunbar – balloons don’t float here

Rising star Isaac Dunbar just released his debut EP, balloons don’t float here, and it is blowing everyone out of the water. Just at the age of 16 Isaac is able to release such a talent saturated project, full of upbeat bops and “right in the feels” lyrics. The eight song collection sounds complete from beginning to end, capturing all different avenues of Isaac’s creative mind. My personal favorite song being “woman on the hills” shining light on the price of fame, or maybe being distracted by the idea of more attention. Isaac’s voice is very soothing, and when layered over dusty synths and a steady baseline, you can’t help but want to move to the beat. This EP is a powerhouse of pop and emotion. Isaac Dunbar is exactly the new artist you didn’t know you needed in your life.
