Julia Gartha – Stay Clear

(Review by Rozie Loreaux)

Julia Gartha gives us the feel good pop single we’ve been desperately needing with her latest release, “Stay Clear”. Gartha and producer Matt Browning join forces to create an anthem for the hopeless romantic in all of us, that pulls us right back in even when we’re doing fine on our own.

A seasoned wordsmith, Julia Gartha sings to us with a warm honesty, and her honey-dipped vocals will stick in your head for hours on end. Her personal, vibrant lyrics ask, “If I stay clear, is it ever good enough?” Begging the question, is opening up worth the risk?

Reminiscent of artists like LEÓN and HAIM, Julia Gartha blends seamlessly with writers Alex Venegas, Matt Browning, and Connor McCoy to blueprint her sound with this release. Keep an eye on this artist, it’s safe to say this is exactly the sound we all need right now; and we can’t wait to see where she goes next.
