LANDROID Wraps Up the Constellation Tour After Bringing Their Concept Album to West Coast Stages
LANDROID wrapped up their multi-city West Coast Constellation tour after taking the album on the road in their own way. Cooper Gillespie and Greg Gordon packed up their RV in their backyard and set off across the coast, embracing a touring experience built around independence, consistency, and connection. The routines they created along the way became an essential part of navigating life between shows.
The journey officially kicked off on June 13, with a hometown album release show at Art Queen in Joshua Tree, before the band headed out on a massive, winding coastal route. The tour brought them to Pacific Northwest staples like McCoy’s in Olympia on June 18 and the Twilight Cafe in Portland on June 21, sharing the bill with Batnap!
The final stretch saw them head back down into California, stopping at legendary independent rooms like the Torch Club in Sacramento on June 25 and the historic Hotel Utah Saloon in San Francisco on June 26, before finally wrapping up the entire run on Saturday, June 27, at the Decades Hi Fi Lounge in Atascadero.
Those who caught a date on the tour experienced LANDROID’s immersive approach to live performance firsthand. Built around their 2026 concept album, “Constellation,” the shows bring the record’s exploration of themes like Gnostic creation myths to life through synchronized visuals and a carefully crafted sensory experience.
The live shows also highlighted the vocal talents of Joshua Tree local Nigel Roman. He contributed heavily to the new record, and his live vocal interplay with Gillespie adds an emotional anchor to the band’s instrumentals.
With the Constellation tour now complete, LANDROID has proven that their transition from city punks to desert rockers is a massive success. Keep an eye out for their upcoming projects and dates!
