Loladre – Be Great (feat. Pope)

Laura Dreyfuss has just debuted her artist project Loladre with the single “Be Great” featuring vocals from Pope.

Laura’s signature mellow & plaintive vocals immediately start off the song with light piano & faint vinyl crackles setting the mood. The chorus builds the track, with a wide spread of vocal layers & electronic elements that break into a grooving pop post-chorus. Pope’s vocals in the second verse adds a new vibe to the song & his voice compliments Laura’s really well when they sing together.

Multi-talented Laura Dreyfuss is currently staring as Zoe Murphy in the hit Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen” and has played the role since the musical’s premiere. She has also starred as the lead (Girl) in the Broadway production of “Once”, as well as hit TV shows Glee and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She has also won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album and a Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program.

“Be Great” is an awesome debut for this all-around powerhouse of an actor/performer/artist and I’m looking forward to hearing what comes next!
